There was a lecture and slide presentation on "Florida Artists 1860-1980" by Deborah Pollack in Palm Beach, Florida, at The Society of the Four Arts Library on January 25, 2006, at 3:00 P.M. Artists who were discussed were Orville Bulman, Martin Johnson Heade, Hermann Herzog, Anthony Thieme, A. E. Backus, Emile Gruppe, Laura Woodward and many others. The lecture was a resounding success with standing room only. Deborah thanks the people who attended, Molly Charland (director of library services), and the Society of the Four Arts Library.
