Grand Rapids Museum Event

On Friday, September 29, 2006, there was a lecture and slide presentation by invitation only followed by a private champagne reception and book signing that celebrated the life and art of Orville Bulman and commemorated the publication of Orville Bulman: An Enchanted Life and Fantastic Legacy. Author Deborah C. Pollack presented the lecture to a warm, wonderful audience. The book signing was a stunning success - all the books sold out to the people who attended, not only from Grand Rapids, but from Texas, Missouri and Ohio. The event was underwritten by Mr. and Mrs. David Frey, and a portion of the proceeds of the book sales were donated to the Grand Rapids Art Museum.

Deborah Pollack thanks all who attended, and especially David and Judy Frey, who hosted the event, Dr. Celeste Adams, Director of the Grand Rapids Museum, and Joann Harding and Eva Martinez who helped coordinate the event.
